Does anyone else here think that the guy from Lee's Movie info smokes some crack? He just posted his "early predictions" and he is pegging the Hulk to do $56mil. Does anyone else think that this is as absurd as I do? I haven't seen a single prediction yet below $60, and even THAT is EXTREMELY low.

The guy is a fool. Read his summer preview in the "special" section of that website. Once in a while he hits one dead-on, but other than that, he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He's going to be off by 20 million at the LEAST. No way this movie bombs. 56 million would almost be a collosal failure.

LOL. I can't believe his website is still running considering all the horrible predictions he gives. But it would really be sad if Hulk does around that number. Lots of people would lose money. Bodog's offering ONLY 4-1 odds for less than 65 million. And they're offering 12-1 for 64.9-69.9. I don't understand their odds sometimes. lol.I don't think this movie will make less than 75 million.

Hulk's buzz ranking just moved up to #1. It's got a score of 142, which is huge. 2Fast 2 Furious had a score of 70 before it's opening. It now also holds the #2 spot for all categories.

I'm taking two bracket for 50 each at intertops for the Hulk. 80 to 89 and 90 or more. If 90 or more hits it will turn an 80 dollar profit.

buzz ranking isn't a very good ranking to use, as any "blockbuster" movie will hit near #1 right before its release. If you actually asked most people what they were more excited about, LOTR: Return of the King, or The Hulk -- they'd say Return of the King -- yet its not #1 on the "buzz" ranking.

We'll see. I've been watching this chart and the buzz score is an idicator of a movie's interest. Right now it's buzz indicator is almost twice Fast and the Furious's which we all know did 50 million. I don't remember what Reloaded's was but it wasn't much more than 142. If I remember correctly is was somewhere in the 150's or maybe 160's, but I could be wrong.

Sound, I didn't mean to completely contradict you, as this chart can be a bit dodgey. I just believe that it might be useful if you watch the numbers closely. I will add, that, before Reloaded was released the weekly releases failed to claim the #1 spot because Reloaded was firmly perched atop the chart for weeks before the release. The Hulk has only now claimed that spot only a few days before release... I think that's partly due to the recent improvement to it's marketing. X2 followed a similar trend, as that film also started showing new television comercials widely starting about a week before release, and it krept up to the #2 spot. It didn't have as far to climb as the Hulk, however, and it probably got there a bit faster.

Oren:

Didn't even think twice about it. Just because some certain people seem to think any disagreement you have with them is cause for war, it doesn't mean all of us do
